Large Turnout To View Braintree Town Relocation Plans

Nearly 200 people viewed the plans for the proposed relocation of Braintree Town Football Club at the recent public meeting.  "It was a positive turnout," said Wayne Gold, managing director, of WG Developments who is working alongside the Football Club. "Public consultation is very important and we welcome thoughts and ideas. You would not expect everyone to be in favour but we have already seen a lot of enthusiasm for our plans and the positive comments from Braintree MP, Brooks Newmark, are much appreciated." As well as the improved facilities for the Football Club one of the three pitches at the new complex would be available for community use and a new tennis club is part of the proposals. "We intend to keep people fully informed and these meetings were the start of that process," concluded Wayne. More information is available by visiting the website at www.braintree-wgd.co.uk
